January's author of the month is an up and coming author that has captured our full attention with the release of her new book, The Immortalists. Chloe Benjamin's sweeping tale set in Manhattan's Lower East Side in the late 1960's offers up an interesting question to contemplate - if you knew the day you were going to die, would it change how you live your life?

 
When Benjamin's four main characters, the Gold siblings, find out from a traveling psychic the date they will cease to exist, we find out just how fascinating it can be to witness someone live out the time they have left with such knowledge. Lucky for us, Benjamin's novel has also been optioned for the big screen.
 
The Immortalists is now available in ELPL's New Book collection and on the Cloud Library.
