I have been happy to help the Friends of ELPL the past 2 years by being on the Board, putting together the Quarterly Newsletter and doing miscellaneous jobs as my time allows. I am also on the recently formed Friends Fundraising Committee. I spent
many 

years volunteering and one position I enjoyed was being my former church’s librarian. My husband and I are loving our retired life in East Lansing. We have nine grown children and their significant others as well as 4 grandchildren.

Outlander Series by Diana Gabaldon
Anything about Hawai’i from history to travel to fiction
Anything by or about Laura Ingalls Wilder (I’m currently reading Pioneer Girl)
Sensible Shoes series by Sharon Garlough Brown
Power of a Praying Life and other books by Jennifer Kennedy Dean
Anything by Max Lucado
Anne of Green Gables series
