There are many more original works of art on display in the library that are for sale. These are the remainder of the Friends Rental Collection from many decades ago. Many are well known artists such as Sally Swiss, Maria Ruggeiro, Vivian Dwyer, Doris Kennedy and more. They are in three locations in the library; the Brick Wall Gallery, over the carrels by the meeting rooms and in the large meeting room. Should you want to see the art in the large meeting room, staff will be happy to unlock the door if needed. There are also many pieces above our used books in the Friend Shop.
