Boredom Buster Boxes

Check out our new Boredom Buster Boxes, available now in the Teen Room! They were created as a way to give teens fun and constructive activities for them to do after-school. The current theme is Fiber Arts and allows teens the opportunity to experiment with a knitting loom, crocheting, and weaving. There’s even supplies to make macrame art!

Every three months there will be new activities available, including puzzles and brain teasers, paint and paper art, and large games like Connect 4, Uno, and Jenga.

These boxes are available for in-library use only, and not available to check out or take home. However, any projects you make using the boxes are yours to keep!

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our Teen Services staff. If you would like to share your creations, please share them with our Marketing and Communications Manager, Gabby Kindig, at gkindig@cityofeastlansing.com or tag us on Instagram at @elplibrary.
