The area beneath the Division Street parking garage is getting some love. The city has installed adirondack chairs, picnic tables, and turf to give people a place to sit and gather. Four art panels have also been installed which will feature a rotating assortment of local artists, art from the Kresge collection and K-12 artists from the local schools. Fun lighting and wooden parklets extending beyond the sidewalk are still to come. The cement sidewalk next to the art panels needs some color as well, hence the chalk walk! City will provide chalk and hand sanitizer.
