Read Native 2021 – Youth Challenge

Join the American Indian Library Association in its first ever Read Native challenge. This challenge runs all year long to celebrate and recognize Indigenous authors, scientists, legislators, storytellers, and creators. When you've completed the challenge, send your filled-in log to readnative21@gmail.com for the chance to win a prize. And please feel free to "double dip" while participating in ELPL events, such as the March is Reading Month Challenge or the Summer Reading Program!

For book suggestions to help you get started, see the following lists:

If you need help finding a book to fit into a specific category, please contact youth librarian Caitlyn Stypa at cstypa@cityofeastlansing.com.
