Patron Perspectives: Chelsea Beckman!

We are excited to launch a new series called Patron Perspectives! Every Saturday, we’ll be sharing experiences from some of the people who use the East Lansing Public Library. We love the community we serve and we’re excited to share some stories with you!

To start us off, we’re hearing from Chelsea Beckman!

Chelsea has been an East Lansing resident all her life. The East Lansing Public Library has been a part of each stepping stone in her life, starting when she was in elementary school with her first library card!

Throughout grade school and continuing into college at Michigan State University, the library assisted with her education and literacy classes. Now in her career as a Kindergarten teacher, the library continues to be a resource when gathering books for story time, theme learning, and giving children access to all kinds of literature! The East Lansing Public Library is one of her favorite places to visit and will always have a special place in her heart!
