In our Patron Perspectives series, we’re sharing stories from some of the people in our community. This week, we’re spotlighting Ameenah Asante!
Ameenah Asante is a Transformational Life Coach, Psychic Intuitive, Human Design Specialist, Master-level Reiki Practitioner, Master Trainer, Dance Educator, Pregnancy & Birth Doula and Fitness and Wellness Professional. She currently serves on the ELPL Board of Trustees as a member-at-large, and was involved with the interactive portion of the new Dustin Hunt mural on the northwest exterior wall of the library. Her children are also depicted in the mural.
Ameenah is originally from East Lansing, Michigan and attended Florida State University. Ameenah moved to Japan in 2002 and happily made Tokyo her home until 2017. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Japanese, a Master’s degree in International Management, and has begun a doctoral degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. She is also a proud mother of two incredible teenagers.
