Paging Through the Past – 1930s: Expanding Services

ELPL turns 100 years old this year! Join ELPL’s Phyllis Thode each month as we explore a decade of the library’s storied history.

This month we talk about how the library expanded in the 1930s. We also interview two volunteers with the Friends of the East Lansing Public Library; first is Joan Fairey, the library's oldest living volunteer, who has worked with the Friends for over 30 years! We also hear from Maureen McCabe-Power, who has been President of the Friends for 10 years, and who shares a little more about the organization's history.
