I'm so excited to be able to use this space to some of my favorite children's books with everyone! Each month I'll be picking out items from three different areas of the children's section to feature that I've enjoyed -- some new titles, some older ones, but all of them things that have caught my eye! Check out this month's picks below.
Picture book: Blown Away by Rob Biddulph
A lovely (and funny!) tale of penguins, polar bears, and more, on an exhilarating adventure to new lands.
Non-fiction: Drowned City by Don Brown
This non-fiction graphic novel is a powerful, difficult, and enlightening look at New Orleans during and after Hurricane Katrina hits in 2005.
Chapter book: Maybe A Fox by Kathi Appelt
Ethereal, magical, and raw, this story of grief and loss is rooted in nature and hope.
