In August the Friends are showcasing local artist Rebecca Morgan and her exhibit, The Wall of Voodoo. In Rebecca's own words:
"The pieces are derived from a variety of influences, mainly Mexican and Spanish. However, one painting is dedicated specifically to my Polish ex-husband. Most of my paintings take 3 to 5 years to complete. Three are composed in part of recycled materials ranging from the mundane - like cigarette cartons and recycled paper. I paint mainly in acrylic with some enamel thrown in as accent colors."
Join us for a reception celebrating Rebecca's work on Tuesday, August 15th at the library, from 6-8pm, opens a new window. Refreshments will be served.
If you are interested in purchasing any pieces you can contact Rebecca via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
