Celebrate March is Reading Month

Looking to celebrate March Is Reading Month? The Early Childhood Literacy Coalition is partnering with ELPL to offer a Literacy Celebration on Sunday, March 18th at the Hannah Community Center, and a special How Do Dinosaurs Say Good Night? storytime here at ELPL on Friday, March 23.

Literacy Celebration:
Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.
Enjoy family friendly activities, musical performances, and storytelling with family-friendly stage shows featuring author-illustrator duo Connie Schofield-Morrison and Frank Morrison, creators of the book I Got the Rhythm, the 2018 Ready to Read Michigan book selection, and musician and storyteller Karen Czarnik. You'll also get to meet some of your favorite storybook characters, including:

  • Pete the Cat
  • T-Rex from How Do Dinosaurs...
  • Clifford
  • Peter Rabbit
  • Rainbow Fish

Please note that this event will take place at Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Rd, East Lansing, MI 48823.

Dinosaur Storytime:

Join us for stories and songs all about dinosaurs, and a chance to meet T-Rex from Jane Yolen's classic series!
