Returning Materials

Materials can be returned inside the library, during normal business hours, or through the outside book drop, which is accessible 24/7.
The inside book drop is a slot in the wall underneath the large mural as you walk into the library.
The outside book drop is located on the south side of the building in the circle drive, just east of the parking lot entrance.

Overdue Fines
$1.50/day -- DVDs;T-Mobile HotSpot
$0.25/day -- all other materials

The maximum overdue fines for an individual item will either be $10.00 or the replacement cost; whichever is lower.

Billed Items
Once an item is at least 30 days overdue your account will be automatically charged for the replacement cost of the item.

Billed items cannot be renewed.

Once a Billed item is returned, the cost will automatically be adjusted to the amount of overdue fines accrued.
Keep in mind that if the replacement cost for an item is less than $10.00, you may not see the amount of the fine change when the Billed item is returned.

Damaged Items
Patrons are responsible for the condition of all materials checked out onto their cards and will be charged for any damaged items if it is determined that an item was not already damaged upon the initial checkout.

Patrons will be charged a preset amount for the repairs of any items.
If an item cannot be repaired and must be withdrawn, patrons will be charged the replacement cost of the item.

Patrons do have the option to purchase a replacement copy on their own as long as it is in brand-new condition and the ISBN matches the original.
There is a $5.00 processing fee charged for replacement copies.

Lost Items
If a patron loses an item and cannot find it anywhere, they will be billed for the replacement cost.

Refunds may be given for lost items that have been paid for, if they are returned within 60 days of the date paid.
