Just moved? Don’t have your internet hooked up yet? ELPL has you covered…

Where are my socks!?!
Where are my socks!?!

Moving is so stressful!  You don't know which box the pans are in, you have no socks and possibly nowhere to sit.  If you also have to wait for your internet to be hooked up, well, that is enough stress to completely unhinge anyone.  Don't worry, the East Lansing Public Library has got your back.

While you wait for internet access:

  1. Check out a WiFi HotSpot.  If you are 18 or older and have an ELPL library card, check out WiFi HotSpot and bring the internet where you need it.
  2. If all the library's HotSpots are checked out (hey, it happens) stop by the library during open hours  and use the library's free WiFi.  There is no need to login, just boot up your device and connect.  We have lots of comfy seating, snacks and coffee.
  3. Can't find your laptop?  Or don't have one?  Don't worry, we have lots of public computers available.  And even if you don't have a library card you can log in with a guest pass, just ask for one at the Service Desk.

We may not be able to help you find your socks, but we can make life a bit more comfortable until you find them.
