Interested in volunteering? The Library sometimes needs help with children's programs or special projects. If you are interested in being notified when these jobs are available, email Mary Hennessey. She will put you on her Teen Email list, and will send announcements of programs, new books, and other library events, as well as letting you know when volunteers are needed.

You have reached the brand new Young Adult Corner of the East Lansing Public Library!! Here you will find information on the Summer Programs we will be offering, as well as some fun things to do to pass the time during the few months between school semesters. So if you are looking for something to do this summer, come visit us! Besides the programs that we offer, the Library also has a wide variety of stuff to do. We have computers, games, movies, music, all kinds of stuff! If you haven't already, come check us out!! As always, if you need help or would like someone to show you around, stop by the reference desk and a librarian will be more than happy to help. We would like to make this page as interactive as possible! So we need your help. If you have a favorite book, movie, or album that you can't stop raving about; or perhaps you've just finished the worst book ever and want to warn others? Submit an online review and your recommendation will be posted on our site. The librarian in charge of the Teen Programs is Mary Hennessey. If you have any questions or comments/suggestions for future programs - she would be the one who can help you out. You should get to know her anyways, she is a pretty cool person! Check this out! Are you interested in graphic novels? - Join our Graphic Novel Committee! Contact Jill Abood for more information.
