New York Public Library
Lists of award winners, recommended books, favorite authors, and more.
American Library Association
The American Library Association has lots of suggestions for good books (and good web sites) for children. This particular page on their site lists lots of great favorites.
Guys Read
Author Jon Scieszka (Time Warp Trio series, Stinky Cheese Man, and others) makes suggestions for a literacy program that connects boys with books they want to read.
Read Kiddo Read
A web site by well-known adult author, James Patterson, dedicated to making children's readers for life. Lots of good suggestions for boys, author interviews, and books to read in the summer.
