One Book, One Community 2016

The City of East Lansing and Michigan State University announce the 2016 One Book, One Community (OBOC) program, highlighting the theme "Faces of Migration". This year’s selections embody the 2016 theme by focusing on the emotions and personal experiences of individuals on migration journeys.

The 2016 selections include Enrique's Journey, a non-fiction book by Pulitzer Prize willing journalist Sonia Nazario; and City of Thorns, another non-fiction title by Ben Rawlence, a former researcher for Human Rights Watch in the horn of Africa.
